OSHA Citing Local Companies For Unsafe Workplaces

Federal regulators are attempting to keep local companies in line and are ready to fine them for allegedly putting employees at risk.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited Bluewater Construction for exposing employees to dangerous falls at two sites in Port St. Lucie.

Citations have also been issued to a company called the Bakery Corporation and a related business called Robotray.

The feds say workers at those Miami companies were exposed to electrical and fire dangers.

All the businesses have 15 days to respond to the citations or pay thousands in fines.
