Beginning on Wednesday night, the City of Fort Lauderdale will be working around the clock to provide for local citizens and businesses.
The new Fort Lauderdale "Night Team" will be composed of police officers, a fire inspector and maintenance workers. Those individuals will now be just a phone call away from Wednesday-Sunday from 5 p.m. and throughout the overnight.
Sarah Spurlock with the City of Fort Lauderdale says citizens and businesses can contact the team for issues like noise complaints, illegal food trucks, maintenance and non-emergency concerns through the city's 24/7 call center at 954-828-8000.
