Wasserman-Schultz Aide Pleads Guilty To False Bank Loan Statement

State Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s former, Pakistani IT aide who was arrested at the airport is pleading guilty to making a false statement on a bank loan application.

Imran Awan was arrested as he tried to flee the country after smashing hard drives and making unauthorized access to DNC data.

President Trump tweeted last month that the Justice Department should not let Imran Awan nor Wasserman Schultz "off the hook."
