South Florida Man Makes Grandfather Mail $15,000 In Ransom Money

Police are currently on the hunt for a man who they say falsified a kidnapping and tricked a grandfather into sending him $15,000 in ransom money.

In June, a Wisconsin man was contacted about sending $15,000 in ransom money because his grandson had been kidnapped, according to authorities.

The man sent two packages containing the ransom money to two separate addresses in Hollywood, Florida.

Police determined that the kidnapping was a complete lie. However, the subject who attempted to pick up one of the packages was caught on a neighbor’s doorbell camera.
