The race for Florida's U.S. Senate seat is heating up in the midst of President Donald Trump's impending announcement of a U.S. Supreme Court nominee.
In Tampa on Monday, Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson said he won't vote for any nominee who supports overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision that provides the right for a woman to have an abortion.
Republican Rick Scott took to Twitter to call that "blatant party line politics," which the governor said "only a career politician wouldn't recognize."
The president said he has so far interviewed four possible replacements for retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.
Trump is expected to announce his decision July 9th.
