There's A Beer Shortage In London?!

Beer is being rationed in the United Kingdom.

A major UK wholesaler says it's limiting bars and stores to ten cases of beer a day per brand.

The reason for the beer rationing is a shortage of the CO2 that makes beer fizzy.

The carbon dioxide that gives beer its bubbles is a by-product of ammonia made for fertilizer.

The UK is being hit hardest by the shortage, which is expected to last several weeks.
