Miami-Dade Community Board Meeting Amid Streak Of Local Shootings

Miami-Dade's Community Relations Board is set to meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, amid a series of shootings in Miami Gardens.

Members of the board are encouraging residents to speak out as they focus on ways to decrease gun violence in the city and the County as a whole.

The monthly Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Committee meeting will take place at the Stephen P. Clark Center. All are welcome.

According to its website, "the primary mission of the Community Relations Board is to intervene and contain community tensions, as quickly as possible."
