Florida's One of The Top Colleges in the Country

 Money's annual college rankings for the upcoming school year are out for the 2018-2019 school year and there is no shortage of big takeaways for parents and students. Money's annual rankings consider 2,700 colleges across 27 data points and are sourced in conjunction with PayScale.com. The top five for the upcoming year are:

#5: University of California – Las Angele

#4: University of California – Berkeley 

#3: University of Michigan 

#2: CUNY Bernard College (NY) 

#1: Princeton University 

As for schools closer to home, UF once again is the top-ranked in the state. Ranking in at #18 overall, placing UF in the 99%+ percentile. Their average net cost for the year $15,800, average SAT/ACT scores for students - 1270/29 and average early earnings after graduation come out to $49,800 per year.

You have to dig a bit to find the next Florida school. At #251 you'll find Flordia State. Just a jump down from the top 99%+, they come in the top 90% of colleges. That being said it is far better than most and here are some of the particulars. Average net cost for the year $18,000, average SAT/ACT scores for students - 1210/28 and average early earnings after graduation - $44,100.

When you compare side-by-side with UF you'll quickly see the differences as to why UF ranks so high. Next up at #277 is the University of Miami.
