Shaq's Endorsements & Journalists find the Dirt on Mar-a-Lago

Today's first hysterical headline comes from the Sun Sentinel, Shaquille O’Neal makes endorsement in Florida governor’s race.

Hot Take: Thank the good lord we finally have the Shaq endorsement so we know how to vote. What would we do otherwise? But here's the real question, who does The General endorse?

Next, we have a headline from CNBC, Trump slams Red Hen for being 'filthy,' but Mar-a-Lago was cited 78 times in 3 years.

Excerpt: President Trump lashes out at a Virginia restaurant that refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

  • Trump says the Red Hen restaurant is "filthy" and "badly needs a paint job."

  • Critics were quick to point out that some of the president's own establishments have not performed well in their own inspections.

  • The Associated Press found the president's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida was cited 78 times over three years for health code violations, including cooking staff not washing their hands and the “accumulation of black/green mold-like substance” on an ice machine.

Hot Take: Now, I don't agree with the President's approach to attempt to impugn the aesthetics of the Red Hen Restaurant but this story is hilarious to me. The Associated Press and the related news media haven't managed to be able to investigate US immigration law sufficiently to determine that separation isn't "Trump" policy. Rather the law of the United States that's been carried out by administrations as needed, most recently during the Obama administration in 2016. However, they sure were quick to find some "dirt" on Trump properties pretty quickly when it fits their objective. It's pretty incredible to watch what really is happening in mainstream news media one day to the next.
