Vote On Immigration Expected On Capitol Hill Wednesday

After delays over the past couple weeks, a vote on a Republican negotiated immigration bill is expected Wednesday.  South Florida Rep. Carlos Curbelo tells the Brian Mudd Show the bill would secure the border and provide a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers.

"Everything we're seeing, all of the controversies, are symptoms of an old, outdated, broken immigration system.  The best way to address all of this is to update and change the laws," said Rep. Curbelo.

He's not confident it will go anywhere.  He says Democrats want to keep immigration issues alive to improve their prospects in the midterm elections.
