Florida's Road to Change Tour Begins Tonight

With Florida's election season kicking off with August primaries, there's no time to waste for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High students turned activists.

The first stop in the statewide, summer long Road to Change tour brings the teens to where it all started... Parkland.

Tonight they rally at the Equestrian Center before heading off for every Congressional voting district.

March for Our Lives' Ryan Servaites says they'll "talk to the kids about the power of their voice and the power of their vote, and we're going to try to register people and obviously kind of promote our stance on pro common sense gun control laws."

Tonight's event, which begins at 5:00, will include food trucks, carnival games, arts and crafts and more.

The Florida leg will run in conjunction with the national tour which is currently in the mid-west with stops this weekend in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

There's no time to waste because voter registration deadline for Florida's gubernatorial primary is July 30th.
