UA FORECASTERS: Below Average Hurricane Season

Forecasters at the University of Arizona are predicting a below-average season featuring four hurricanes with only two of those being major category three or higher storms. That's far fewer than the five to nine hurricanes predicted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

UA claims it's 2017 forecast was very accurate being off by just one hurricane.

This year, we've already seen Alberto... which caused lots of wind and rain, but never became a hurricane.
