Governor Rick Scott Heads Back To Puerto Rico

Florida Governor Rick Scott is heading back to Puerto Rico today.  According to the governor's press office, Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló invited Scott to visit.  Governor Scott is expected to offer assistance with recovery from Hurricane Maria and participate in a summit on hurricane recovery.

This is Scott's second trip to Puerto Rico in three weeks.

The Public Service Commission will meet this morning discuss hurricane preparedness for Florida Power and Light and other Florida electric companies they regulate. Commissioners will consider recommendations for improved hurricane preparedness and power restoration following last year's Hurricane Irma.
