Miami-Dade is partnering with Ford to improve transportation in the county. The City of Tomorrow Challenge will take suggestions from residents who want to turn their ideas into action.
"It's a reward for the best idea, but the intent is that they would take that money and actually launch the business and the solution here in Miami," said John Kwant with the Ford Motor Company.
Ford will award up to $100,000 to fund pilot programs that will modernize local transportation. The company will host several community events over the next eight months to find the best ideas.
