Florida Donates Patrol Cars To Puerto Rico

Florida is donating 25 Florida Highway Patrol vehicles to the Puerto Rico Police Department.  Governor Rick Scott says the FHP vehicles will assist law enforcement efforts as the island works to rebuild after Hurricane Maria.

The vehicles had been out of circulation and were ready for surplus before they were donated.  In November, 50 FHP troopers were deployed to Puerto Rico for one month to assist Puerto Rico police with security operations and traffic control needs.
