Father Of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Victim Resigns From Commission

A father of the Parkland tragedy plans to focus on upcoming elections, and therefore he's stepping aside from the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Commission.

In his resignation letter to the commission, Andrew Pollack says, "I'll be spending my time and resources on an independent investigation that will get to the bottom of who was responsible for the atrocities that occurred in our school on Valentine's Day."

He also stresses he believes the commission will, "get the answers they are seeking."

The letter was read into the record during the start of the two day commission meeting which is being held at the BB&T Center.
