South Florida Park Listed As Best In State

Time Money names Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray as best in state.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a former utility property in Palm Beach County that was converted into 50 acres of wetlands more than two decades ago.  The park is noted for it's nearly mile-long boardwalk past ponds and islands.  Admission to the park is free.  

TripAdvisor reviews commend the park for bird watching, alligator sightings and photography.

Time used a Yelp algorithm to calculate the number of positive park reviews as well as business star ratings to come up with the best park in each state.  The magazine also listed a total travel cost to visit the parks.
