Father of Parkland Victim Reacts to Scot Peterson Interview

The father of a Parkland victim reacting to first part of the Scot Peterson interview on the Today Show.  Manuel Oliver, father of Joaquin Oliver, outraged by the interview of the former Broward County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer who went on national television to explain why he didn't enter the building where the shooter killed 17 students, including his son.

"When this guy [Peterson] refers to the kids as his kids, that is not true.  Those are our kids and they're always going to be our kids.  And when he says it's easy to go ahead and blame him, I can tell you, it's not easy.  It's not easy to be in a house with an empty room of our kid," said Oliver.

Oliver says he doesn't want the Peterson interview to take the focus away from the Parkland students who are advocating for change after the tragedy.
