As Florida's U.S. Senate candidates battle for the support of Puerto Rican voters, Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson picks up an endorsement Monday. Pedro Rosello, the former governor of Puerto Rico and father of the current governor, is throwing his hat in for Nelson.
Both Nelson and Republican Governor Rick Scott have been courting the vote of Puerto Rican voters, whose ranks have swelled after tens of thousands relocated to Florida following the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
