Smoking Marijuana Could Be Harmful To Your Health, Lung Association Says

Experts are warning that smoking marijuana could be harmful to your health.  

The American Lung Association warns that marijuana smoke contains many of the same toxins and cancer-causing agents as tobacco smoke.  

Dr. Christian Hopfer, a Colorado psychiatrist who's leading a national study on marijuana, says smoking marijuana a few times a day hurts your memory. Similarly, a 2015 Yale School of Medicine study found that marijuana use makes a person 2.5 times more likely to abuse prescription opioids.
