Gator Spotted At Florida School, Children Relocated

Reports of an alligator near a Palm Beach County high school prompted officials to move students from some portable classrooms on Tuesday morning. 

According to Palm Beach County school district officials, there is a pond near the portable classrooms at Royal Palm Beach High School (located at 10600 Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm) and the alligator was spotted nearby. 

Despite the move, classes resumed as scheduled. 

Wildlife officers arrived at the scene around 7 a.m. and were spotted surveying the area.
