President Trump Says US, China Relationship Is Improving

President Donald Trump says barriers and tariffs are starting to come down with China for the first time.

Trump touched on negotiations with China in a series of tweets Monday morning and said that Beijing is agreeing to buy massive amounts of additional farm and agricultural products from the U.S.

This emerges as word that China and the U.S. have put a possible trade war on hold while some sort of deal is worked out.

Trump has long criticized America's trade relationship with China, calling it one-sided and unfair.

The President said that China must also remain "strong and tight" on an increasingly porous border of North Korea until a North Korean security deal is made.
