Florida Bus Driver Charged For Making Disabled Student Walk Home

A Florida school bus driver is facing charges for forcing a disabled girl to walk about a mile to her home.

The Okaloosa County man was arrested last week for the incident that took place three months ago.

Deputies say the 8-year-old student doesn't normally ride the bus, and when she told the driver where to drop her off, he didn't know where it was.

According to the "Panama City News Herald," the arrest report blames the bus driver for showing an egregious lack of care and utter disregard for the girl's safety.
