On Saturday, Trump supporters across South Florida will meet at the Cheesecake Factory at Dadeland Mall, sporting their MAGA hats, in an effort to take a "stand against intimidation tactics against Trump supporters."
The group Miami-Dade Citizens 4 Trump is taking a stand against recent actions that sparked outrage at the local Cheesecake Factory location.
On Mother's Day, 22-year-old Eugenior Joseph says he was eating at the restaurant with his girlfriend's family, wearing a MAGA hat, when about a dozen employees surrounded the table and shouted at him for wearing the hat.
"It is a horrible day in America when we can no longer wear a hat supporting the President of the United States," says event organizer and Miami-Dade Citizens 4 Trump Founder Ingrid Carvajal. "Those on the left think it is okay to attack, belittle, and ridicule people into silence and we are saying 'NO MORE.'"
The Miami-Dade Citizens 4 Trump demonstrators at the Dadeland Mall begins at 12 p.m.
