TMZ is reporting that the estranged half-sister of royal wedding bride Meghan Markle is in the hospital after a car crash in Florida described as a "confrontation with the paparazzi."
Samantha Grant's boyfriend told the website that they were driving near a toll booth on Monday when he swerved to avoid hitting a photographer that had veered in front of them to get a picture.
He says their vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier and Samantha suffered a broken ankle and a fractured knee.
The news comes as Markle confirms her father won't be attending the royal wedding because he's still recovering from a recent heart attack.
Grant was not invited to the wedding.
