A magazine is apologizing to Monica Lewinsky after they disinvited her to an event once former President Bill Clinton accepted an invitation to speak.
The one-time White House intern who had an affair with Clinton wrote in a tweet that "Town & Country" magazine pulled her invitation to its philanthropy summit in New York City on Wednesday, right after Clinton confirmed his attendance.
On Thursday, the magazine apologized to Lewinsky, adding it regretted the way the "situation was handled."
