UCF Fraternity Suspended After Rape Allegations At Off-Campus Party

A troubled University of Central Florida fraternity is back on interim suspension after a woman claims she was gang-raped at an Alpha Tau Omega "party home" in Orange County.

The woman says the attack happened Friday night. According to an Orange County Sheriff's Report, the victim said she remembers waking up to both men raping her in a bedroom and was unable to move or speak.

Authorities say two men, 20-year-old sophomore Jack Smith and 26-year-old junior David Kirk, have been arrested in connection to the incident.

This is the second time Alpha Tau Omega has been suspended since July, when another woman reported being raped during a party.

The national fraternity says the party wasn't a sanctioned event and it supports women.

Smith was arrested Saturday and has already made his first appearance and bonded out of jail.

Kirk was arrested Tuesday and will make his first appearance in front of a judge Wednesday morning.
