Miami-Dade Police detectives believe they've found the driver who slammed into a man and left him to die on Northwest 7th Avenue.
After authorities said someone turned himself in to deputies on Thursday night and the damaged car was recovered, Michael Vernet was booked on leaving the scene of a deadly accident charges.
On Sunday night, 51-year-old Auguste Friznel was hit and killed. Just days later, two other women were hit at the same location on 7th Avenue and 103rd Street.
That driver stayed on the scene.
