Road Rage Crash On I-95 Leaves Victim With Life-Threatening Injuries

A road rage incident Wednesday morning on an Interstate 95 ramp has left one person with life-threatening injuries, according to FHP officials.

Authorities say preliminary investigation shows the victim was intentionally struck by a vehicle. That vehicle then fled the scene, FHP says. 

The incident occurred near Boynton Beach and led authorities to shut down the ramps leading to and from the interstate.

The victim was taken to Delray Medical Center in Palm Beach County. Authorities are still searching for the vehicle that fled the area.

No information has been released regarding what incidents, if any, led to the incident. 

The name of the victim hasn't been released.
