Dick's Sporting Goods has announced that it will destroy all of the guns and firearm accessories it stopped selling in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland.
The retailer said Tuesday that it is destroying the firearms as opposed to trying to return them to their manufacturers.
Dicks made headlines in February when, after the shoothing massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, it banned the sale of assault-style rifles and the sale of all guns to anyone under 21.
Other retailers took the same measures, including Walmart, which also raised its minimum-age rules for firearms.
