The Miami Police Department is reporting that a man was shot and killed in northwest Miami-Dade early Friday morning.
Authorities say the fatal incident happened in the 7800 block of NW 4th Avenue. The man, who was in his 30s, was transported to the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
He was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.
Officials ask commuters in the area to seek alternate routes, as roads are closed off from 77th to 79th Street.
