Miami Beach Gay Pride Week kicks off Monday evening with the Pride Rainbow flag-raising ceremony at City Hall, located at 1700 Convention Center Drive, kicking off at 6:30 p.m.
Dozens of buildings throughout Miami-Dade County will also be lit up in rainbow colors for Pride Light the Night to honor the victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub attack and show support for the LGBTQ community in general.
Also on Monday night, the sixth Annual Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride Pageant (A FUNdraiser event benefitting Miami Beach Gay Pride and honoring Joanna James Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride 2017) will be taking place at The Faena Theatre located at 3201 Collins Avenue.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
The events culminate Sunday with the 10th annual Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade.
