FL Congressional Candidate Feeling Heat For Misspeaking At Candidate Forum

One of the candidates vying to replace retiring Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is getting some flack for misspeaking at a candidate forum earlier this week.

Kristen Rosen Gonzalez said "out of 740,000 people living in the district, only about 190,000 have college degrees, 90,000 have graduate degrees. But the vast majority of people in this district are uneducated."

The Miami Herald reports she says she meant to say "undereducated" for the current job market.

She blames the paper for taking the quote out-of-context on its opinion page's Twitter account.
