No Mistrial For Pulse Nightclub Shooter's Widow, Noor Salman

A judge is refusing to grant a mistrial in the case of the Pulse Nightclub shooter's widow.

Noor Salman's attorneys say prosecutors failed to disclose that the Pulse shooter's father, Seddique Mateen, was a former FBI informant.

They say that due to the mis-information, the defense is prevented from presenting different theories about the case.

Local media report that the judge announced his decision Monday, saying Salman's case wasn't harmed because the government never called Mateen's father as a witness.

Salman is accused of helping Mateen plan the June 2016 attack at the gay nightclub in Orlando, where he killed 49 people.

Closing arguments in the case are expected sometime later this week.
