Hurricane Researcher Dropped Some Subtle Hints About The 2018 Forecast

The earliest forecast of Atlantic hurricane season comes each year from Colorado State University.

It's due out April 5th, but at the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando on Monday, researcher Phil Klotzbach wasn't up to dishing out much of a preview.

Still, Klotzbach did indicate that if current conditions continue, the 2018 season could be more active than normal.

He said those "more active" conditions include a La Nina event and a warmer than usual Atlantic Ocean.
