Congress Faces (Another) Looming, Potential Government Shutdown

Once again, Congress is under pressure to meet a deadline (midnight on Friday) to avoid another government shutdown.

This means that Legislators still have to hammer out a spending bill.

If Democrats and Republicans can't come to an agreement to keep the government funded for the rest of the fiscal year, they'd have to pass a short-term measure to keep things up and running.

They've already passed five such "short term" measures this year.
