A voice mail from one of the engineers who worked on the now collapsed pedestrian bridge at FIU. He warns about cracks in the concrete. But said he didn't think that it would constitute a safety issue. NTSB investigators have said pretty much the same thing. A crack doesn't mean it's unsafe. Bridge engineers released a statement saying that they are heartbroken by the loss of life and injuries.
