Commerce Dept: Retail Sales Keep Sinking

According to the United States Commerce Department, retail sales keep falling.

In a report released Wednesday, the Commerce Department reports that retail sales fell a tenth of a percent throughout the month of February.

In a twist of fate, retail analysts had expected a four-tenths of a percent increase for the month.

February is the third straight month of declining sales.

This is the first time in almost six years retail sales have declined for three consecutive months.
