In the aftermath of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, the Trump Administration has released its school safety plan... but it looking like at least on U.S. Senator, particularly a Senator from the Sunshine State, isn't happy with it.
U.S. Domocratic Florida Senator Bill Nelson took to the Senate floor last night to call a provision to arm some teachers "a terrible idea."
Nelson said that's not what students and teachers are asking for and not what the American people want.
He accused the president of succumbing to pressure from the NRA and backing off from gun control proposals.
