USCG Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In Key Biscane

A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday in Key Biscayne after striking a bird.

According to the USCG, their MH-65 Dolphin helicopter faced possible damage after hitting a bird during a routine flight Thursday in Key Biscane.

On board the helicopter were two pilots, a flight mechanic and rescue swimmer. 

No injuries were reported, according to a statement by USCG.

Officials are working on assessing the damage before determining if it can safely fly.
