Checking In On Poll Forecast For Florida's Senate Seat

A new poll gives Republican Governor Rick Scott the edge over Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson in what is expected to be the November match-up for Florida's U.S. Senate seat.

The statewide survey by the Saint Leo University Polling Institute finds 42 percent of Florida voters favor Scott, compared to 35 percent for Nelson.

When it comes to the race for governor, nearly half of voters are undecided.

Coming in second: Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam on the Republican side and former Congresswoman Gwen Graham among Democrats.
