Once again this week, we are enjoying a slight drop in the price for a gallon of gas; though we're still higher than the national average.
Prices over the last week dropped nearly one cent, down to $2.59 a gallon. The national average stands at $2.53, increasing one cent from last week.
The good news is that local prices continues to drop -- down more than six cents from this point last month.
In Miami-Dade, the cheapest gas is at the Valero station on Flagler Street and 18th Avenue ($2.47 for a gallon of regular gas).
In Broward, you can find gas for $2.45 per gallon of regular at the Speedway station located at 1600 S. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale.
