Four people were aboard a boat that capsized near Key Biscayne Monday morning, according to officials.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the US Coast Guard responded around 9:25 a.m. to a report of a capsized boat about seven miles southeast of the Cape Florida Lighthouse on Key Biscayne.
Rescue crews found the 25-foot capsized vessel and its four passengers in the water. They were brought on board and seemingly in good condition, officials said.
Officials reminded boaters that there is a small craft advisory in the area and encouraged all boaters to have life-safety vests as well as fully functional marine radios on-board in case of an emergency.
