A photo of a Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting survivor is reportedly being used in connection with fundraising for President Donald Trump's re-election campaign.
According to CNN, an email seeking donations includes a photo of 17-year-old Madeleine Wilford in a hospital bed surrounded by family members, the President and the First Lady.
The email, sent out on Saturday, led with a photo of the visit and stated that Trump, who has proposed arming teachers as a way to tackle school shootings, would make children's safety his top priority.
It contained a link to President Trump's reelection campaign donation page.
'The nation has turned its attention to the senseless school shooting in Parkland, Florida,' the email seen by CNN reads.
'Trump is taking steps toward banning gun bump stocks and strengthening background checks for gun purchasers.
