Governor Scott Wants Investigation Into Shooting

So far, Governor Rick Scott is not making any moves to remove Broward Sheriff Scott Israel from his post, but he is callling on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate the police response to the high school shooting in Parkland.  This after State Representative Bill Hager's letter to the Governor demanding that Israel be removed from his post. Sources say that three Broward County Sheriffs Deputies remained outside while students and teachers were being shot inside. Israel disputes the content of Bill Hager's letter. The Sheriff maintains that the school resource officer, Scott Peterson, who is a deputy is the only one who stayed outside. Peterson has since resigned. For more, click here.
