A new smartphone app in Palm Beach County will help to prevent future school shootings before they happen.
The Sheriff's Office and School district say the app called "Student Protect" will allow students and faculty to send in anonymous tips about crimes, mental health problems, bullying, suspicious activities, or other problemson school campuses.
The app is expected to launch next week and will be free of charge to download and use.
