Amazon Looks To Create More Cashierless Convenience Stores

There are reports Amazon is going to open more stores without cashiers.

The tech news website Recode reports Amazon plans to open six more cashierless convenience stores this year.

The online retail giant opened the first Amazon Go store last month in its hometown of Seattle.

Amazon Go is the company's move into the $550-billion U.S. convenience store arena.

It's part of Amazon's brick-and-mortar ambitions, highlighted by last year's acquisition of Whole Foods Markets.
