A Hialeah Police officer remains in the hospital after the patrol car he was driving hit a pole Tuesday morning.
The unidentified officer crash just after 5 a.m. near East 4th Avenue and 4th Street, according to officials.
He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert with a lower back injury, but was conscious as he was being transported and is expected to be okay.
Investigators have not released information on what caused the crash.
