The Florida Parent-Teacher Association is hosting candlelight vigils throughout the state at 7:00 Monday evening in honor of the Douglas High victims.
Locally, vigils are being held at:
- Betti Stradling Park located at 10301 Wiles Road in Coral Springs
- Glades Middle School located at 16700 Bass Creek Road in Miramar
- Crystal Lake Middle School located at 3551 NE 3rd Avenue in Pompano Beach
- Horizon Elementary School located at 2101 North Pine Island Road in Sunrise
In Miami-Dade, vigils are being held at:
- Coral Gables United Church of Christ located at 3010 De Soto Boulevard in Coral Gables
- Hialeah Gardens High School located at 11700 Hialeah Gardens Boulevard in Hialeah Gardens
- Richmond Heights' The Bethel Church located at 14440 Lincoln Boulevard in Miami
