Fifteen-year-old Luke Hoyer loved basketball.
Luke was confirmed dead by his grandparents. They were notified by family members that Luke was a victim in the Florida school shooting in Parkland.
He was their youngest grandson. “He was a good kid. He never got into trouble,” his grandmother said.
His cousin, Grant Cox, posted that he was devastated and “in disbelief” that his cousin Luke was one of the victims. “Tears will never show you how much I loved Luke. He had a whole life ahead of him and now I live through him,” Cox said on Facebook.
